A Huge Thankyou!

I recently found out that the lovely Wendy from 'The Butterfly Balcony' has awarded me two blog awards!

I am extremely happy and overwhlemed!

It might not seem like much to some people but to me and my little blog it is very exciting!

I would like to say a huge thankyou to Wendy not only for awarding me these but for even reading my blog!

My weekend had become a little bit brighter in all these April showers!

Newhaven Fort

Yesterday me, my Mother and sister decided to have a family day out, so we went to Newhaven Fort.
This is one of my favourite local places to go to, it has brilliant exhibitions, lovely tea and cake and a lovely atmosphere.

Yesterday i went on a wild flower hunt down the back streets of my road.
I was very surprised at how many there were, they are all so beautiful.
Mine are now on my windowsill looking pretty through the moring light.

Charity Shop Excursion

A couple of days ago i went to my local and favourite charity shops, which was lovely.

It was also payday, so i bought my first ever piece of furniture, a 1940s dark wood wardrobe. It is absolutely gorgeous and it was only £40! Which i think is a very good deal.

It is being delivered on Tuesday, and yes, i definitely will be taking pictures.

I thought i would also show you these brooches i got on my excursion.
The red rose i think is definitely homemade and i love it.

Queen of the Ocean

Today i saw Titanic: 3D in the cinema, as i was too young to it in the cinema the first time round. It was astounding and emotional! I'm not one for liking modern things much but the 3D really mades you feel like your there.
I cried and laughed and it was lovely.
I also took some pictures of my outfit.

One thing i didn't notice when i was younger, was how stunning Kate Winslet is and how much i want her entire wardrobe.

Easter felicitations

Happy Easter to all! Hope you all had a lovely day!
I had a lovely afternoon tea with my Mother, Grandma, Aunty and Sister.
We exchanged gifts and had a very happy Easter.

Vintage Stratton Compact

Hello All.                           
I thought i would share with you something my dear Mother found me yesterday.

She got it for a absolute bargain, only 99 pence!
It has slight staining on the bottom but nothing that can't be fixed!
I must say, it is my favourite charity shop find for years!
